Application Process
The steps to applying for an Experiment in International Living program are as follows:
1. Preliminary Application
Complete the preliminary application and submit your program deposit. Once you submit your preliminary application, we reserve a space on your program of choice.
Application Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please call us to determine program availability.
When we receive your preliminary application, students and parents will receive an email confirmation from us on the next business day.
2. Secondary Application Materials
To access the secondary application materials of your Participant Application, you must login here and select the option that best describes where you are in the application process.
3. Track your application on Web Advisor
For students who have already applied, you can use Web Advisor to review which application materials the Experiment has received, review your financial profile, and enter your Domestic Travel and Emergency Contact information.
Once you have completed these steps, The Experiment Admissions team will review your completed application, confirm your enrollment, and send you pre-departure program materials.

If you would prefer to apply by mail or fax, please complete the paper preliminary application and fax it to 802-258-3428 or mail it to The Experiment in International Living, 1 Kipling Road, Brattleboro, Vermont 05302.
