Bienvenue en France
A summer abroad in France will help you to learn to speak French while immersed in a rich and dynamic culture. All programs include travel with a group and a homestay with a French family.
The Experiment offers 10 different programs in France. All groups begin their French immersion with an interactive group orientation in Paris and then travel to different regions for homestays. Homestays are individual, but groups get together regularly for cultural events, outdoor activities, and visits to local historical sites.
Some programs include French language courses, others focus on the Arts through Theater in Avignon and Paris, Art in Provence, Photography, Language training and French Cooking in Lyon, or Chocolate making.
Other programs focus on the outdoors by exploring the French Alps or Biking in Britany.
Some programs explore different regions like the Italian or German border with France, the Camargue, or the Basque region of Southern France and Northern Spain.
