Program Overview
Orientation in Paris
During your three-day orientation in Paris, become an expert at negotiating the Metro, visit the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, and meander down the Champs Elysées. Practice French as you and your group visit local vendors to buy breads, pastries, fruits, and cheeses for a picnic lunch.
French Alpine Adventure
After your 17-day homestay, hike through the rugged Alps with your group. Immerse yourself in the dramatic landscape as you trek through alpine fields, climb massive glaciers, try out your mountaineering skills, and practice French with shepherds in local villages. Your program con¬cludes with a hike over the Italian border for an overnight in the mountains.
